Job Description
The Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s security infrastructure. This role involves safeguarding systems and data from cyber threats, conducting vulnerability assessments, responding to incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of modern cyber threats.
- Design, deploy, and manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management systems.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for security breaches or anomalies.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending preventive measures.
